Our History Spans Over 55 Years
W. Stewart Manning, son of the late Roy Manning, is today's president and CEO. He joined Manning Brothers in 1970.
As a strategic move into a larger market area, and in an effort to expand its customer base, Manning Brothers opened a branch store in Athens, GA in June of 1981. Both the Hartwell and Athens locations were maintained until 1983 when all operations were moved to the Athens location. And in January of 2001 Manning Brothers moved to their present location, a brand new facility expressly designed for the Food Service Equipment and Supply Company.
Because of accelerated growth and market penetration, in 1990
Manning Brothers was selected to join the premier buying group and
marketing organization SEFA (Supply & Equipment Food Services
Alliance). This Alliance has been an underline for continued growth
and recognition among peers and customers alike as a quality
oriented, traditional Food Service Equipment Dealer.
